    Senior pastor

Jim is married to Ann.  Jim and Ann have four children: Dan, married to Erica;  Katie, married to Caleb;  Laura; and Josh.  Jim received a Masters in Theology degree from Dallas Theological Seminary and a BSME from Purdue University.  After five years as a development engineer at the John Deere Product Engineering Center, Jim felt the Lord leading him to vocational Christian ministry.  He resigned from his job, headed to seminary in preparation for ministry.  After completing his graduate degree and ministry in Dallas, he moved his family to Kansas to pastor the Denison Bible Church for seven years before moving to Illinois to pastor the Taylorville Evangelical Free Church in 1997.

  • Cindy enzor

    Music director

Cindy has served as Music/Worship Director at TEFC since 2001.  She loves to plan weekly services, rehearsing the Praise Teams, as well as leading Sunday morning worship.  Cindy began her music career teaching music in public schools after receiving a Bachelor's degree from Eastern Illinois University.  Then she felt God calling her to music ministry in 1985.  She received her Master's degree in 1987 from Southern Methodist University and has been serving in music ministry since then.

Cindy also stays busy teaching piano and voice lessons in her home studio.  She is a professional accompanist for the local public schools.  When that isn't keeping her busy, she is spoiling her grandkids or fixing delicious meals for her husband Larry of 26 years.  Her favorite hobbies include card making, reading, cooking and baking and rooting for her favorite team, the Chicago Cubs.

Cindy's favorite book of the Bible is the Psalms.  "It is full of music!"  One favorite passage is Psalm 25:4-5, "Show me your ways Lord, teach me your paths.  Guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long."  She uses Psalm 27:1 as her life verse.  "The Lord is my light and my salvation -- whom shall I fear?  The Lord is the stronghold of my life -- of whom shall I be afraid?"  Cindy feels very blessed to be able to serve God through music.

  • Dotti taylor

    administrative assistant

Dotti Taylor left a brief "early retirement" in 2003 to work as our Administrative Assistant, a decision she has never regretted.  She remembers as a child watching an office receptionist and thinking that would be a great job, and her high school classes in office skills reinforced those thoughts.  It is no surprise then that, rather than pursuing a college education, shortly after graduating from Greenville High School, she began her secretarial career, with her first job as a stenographer for the FBI.

She and her husband, Jerry, have been married for 28 years and are the parents of five children, and grandparents of nine (soon to be ten).

Dotti passionately cheers for the St. Louis Cardinals, Fighting Illini, and Chicago Bulls.  Her favorite pastimes include gardening, cooking, adult coloring books, thrift store shopping, and taking day trips with Jerry.  She loves music of all genres, and Mac Powell of Third Day is her favorite singer. Despite her fear of water and crossing bridges, her favorite places to visit are covered bridges, waterfalls and the beach.

Dotti's favorite Bible verse is Deuteronomy 30:20  "...love the LORD your God, listen to his voice, and hold fast to him.  For the LORD is your life".
