Jim is married to Ann. Jim and Ann have four children: Dan, married to Erica; Katie, married to Caleb; Laura; and Josh. Jim received a Masters in Theology degree from Dallas Theological Seminary and a BSME from Purdue University. After five years as a development engineer at the John Deere Product Engineering Center, Jim felt the Lord leading him to vocational Christian ministry. He resigned from his job, headed to seminary in preparation for ministry. After completing his graduate degree and ministry in Dallas, he moved his family to Kansas to pastor the Denison Bible Church for seven years before moving to Illinois to pastor the Taylorville Evangelical Free Church in 1997.
Jim loves the passion and direction from the heart and life of the Apostle Paul in Philippians 3:10, "...that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of His sufferings...".
